Basement Archaeology

Funky stuff turns up when you swish water under a 64 year-old furnace. We found a rusted piece of what seems to have once been a toy car (What some kid was doing playing in that nasty boiler room, I can’t imagine. Kids are weird.), and a mouse skeleton.

Having been a D&D player for 22 years, I’m a little disappointed. I’ve been conditioned to expect to find gold pieces and magic items when digging around in old basements.
