This just in:

Johnathan Rhys-Myers has been nominated for an Emmy award for “Outstanding Lead Actor in a Miniseries or Movie” for his portrayal of The King! W00t!!! See, it wasn’t just me and Loupy being a couple a freakazoids, he really WAS awesome! I feel all validated and stuff now.

His competition is fierce, tho. But on the other hand, it’s pretty amazing to see JRM’s name in the same list as: Kenneth Branagh (played FDR in an HBO movie), William H. “He’s good in anything” Macy, Geoffrey Rush (played Peter Sellers in an HBO movie. I think he’ll win. The Peter Sellers movie swept the nominations in everything), and Ed “He’s also good in anything” Harris.

Dang. Way to go, JRM! E would be proud of ya! Here’s a gratuitous pic, just to celebrate!
