Tag! I’m IT!

So yesterday Loupy tagged me to share 15 things about me that you may not know. I’m a slacker, so I put it off till today. I feel like Loup did; I babble so much on here, what could you possibly not know? Here it is anyway:

1. I start every day by drinking a big, giant 32oz. cup of water. If I don’t get to have it, I feel all sickly and unpleasant for the rest of the day.

2. “Return of the Jedi” was the first SW movie I saw in a theater.

3. I really like Grape Nuts cereal.

4. I find it very hard to stay up later than about 11:30pm. If I stay up much later than that, I end up not being able to sleep at all.

5. I’ve never had a cavity since I was seven.

6. I used to have a big crush on Tom Wopat as Luke Duke, back in the day.

7. I’ve cried at Star Trek movies.

8. My highest SAT score was 1320.

9. Nowadays, I can’t perform even the simplest addition without using a calculator.

10. I think I’ve seen every episode of “Leave It To Beaver.”

11. I can’t ride a bicycle.

12. I can’t swim, either.

13. I used to have a vast Smurf collection.

14. I’ve known BW since I was 16. I’ve known Whistler since I was 14.

15. Apart from BW, the man I’ve seen naked most often is Ewan McGregor.

Whistler, I pass this tag on to you!!

And Then, Loupy tagged me with these really really hard book questions. Eep!

1. Total Number of Books I’ve Owned.
I couldn’t even begin to tell you. I constantly rotate them out to make room on the shelves for new stuff. Many multiple thousands, I’m sure.

2. Last Book I Bought.
Last time I went book shopping, I bought Eragon, Master & Commander, and Sharpe’s Escape. I’ll be going on another buying spree on Buy.com soon as I get paid for my eBay auctions. W00t! :)

3. Last Book I Read.
Sharpe’s Escape by Bernard Cornwell.

4. Five Books That Mean a Lot to Me.
The Lord of the Rings. Every time I read it, I find some new level to appreciate.
Watership Down by Richard Adams. I can’t explain the fascination of this book, but I just think it’s so moving. Maybe I just love little bunnies.
The Big Sleep by Raymond Chandler. Reading it just feels like sinking back into a big leather armchair.
Beowulf. Until time-travel to ancient Britain is invented, there’s Beowulf. Consistently gives me goosebumps.
Those little paperback collections of Peanuts strips that were published in the 60′s. My grandma had a lot of them (I think they used to be my uncles’), and I would literally memorize each strip. Especially the really old strips from the 50′s, those were amazing. Rock on, Charlie Brown.

I don’t know 5 other people with blogs to pass this to! I’m an internet hermit!
