Boring, boring, boring…

Another idea stolen from Loup.
“List five things that people in your circle of friends or peer group are wild about, but you can’t really understand the fuss over.
To use the words of Caesar (from History of the World Part I), ‘Nice. Nice. Not thrilling . . . but nice.’
Ok, here’s mine:

1. Sports. I don’t think I have to elaborate on that one, do I?

2. Tea. If it’s weak, it tastes just like water with something wrong with it. If it’s strong and/or unsweetened, it tastes like some nasty medicinal crap. I will allow that tea with flavors added (peach, etc.) so that it doesn’t taste like tea leaves anymore, can be good.

3. Video/computer games. I was addicted to video games in the 80′s right along with everybody else, but nowadays I couldn’t give a rat’s ass. I don’t know what changed. I’m still a geek. They just don’t seem fun anymore, especially the ones that you have to play on a computer. I can think of about 25,000 other things I’d pick to do before I chose to play modern computer game. But I still take out Galaga sometimes and have at it…

4. Breeding. Friends don’t let friends have sprog. Well, I tried my best is all I can say.

5. Japanese food. Fish. Hardly any spices, or sauces, or flavors, other than….fish. Sometimes they throw in some seaweed for seasoning, and you know what that tastes like? Fish! 3-week old dead fish left out on a boardwalk. And, you have to eat about 30 pounds of sushi before you even start to get full.

Who else wants to take this ball and run with it?
