My work is done here

I almost can’t believe it, but Agent Asian’s wedding invitations which I have been working on in some way or another since…February, I think….

The Agent and her mom came over to my house on Friday and we spent a pleasant day doing the final assembly and stuffing them into their envelopes.  Soon they will be winging their way through the mails.  It’s weird to have them out of the house; the corner where all of the paper and stamps and ink and glue and everything has been sitting seems so empty.

Anyway, I think that they came out quite well.  I’d take a picture, but I don’t want to spoil it for those of you who will be receiving the real thing in the mail.  And I think what makes them extra-special is that I worked on them during practically every game of hockey playoffs, all the way up almost to the Cup win…I’d plonk down in front of the telly for three hours and cut paper or do something with them during the intermissions, commercial breaks, or just whenever the Pens were having a bad period.  :)   So they’re touched with that Crosby-Fleury-Staalsy-Gonchar-Orpik-etcetcetc-Bylsmagi!  Good mojo, that.
