Oy gevalt!

Obviously, we are home.

Got in late Thursday, and what a whirlwind since then.  Collecting checks, buying cars, selling cars, trying to unpack.  Chaos.  We didn’t get to sit until Sunday when Tim the Enchanter, Donna the Nicknameless, and BabyGeek hosted a lovely brunch.  Thank you, guys.

So the vacation was great.  We accomplished exactly what we wanted:  nothing.  There were virtually no people at the resort where we stayed, and we did nothing but read books and move around on a circuit from beachfront to pool to hammock to hot tub.  If you want to do nothing on vacation, I highly recommend Turks&Caicos because there’s nothing TO do, even if you wanted.  This is one of the few vacations where we’ve come home without any trinkets because there’s hardly even any shops.  T&C is such a relatively “new” destination that a lot of those sorts of things are still under construction.

Anyhow, here’s the pics:

No captions, sorry.  But I think it’s all very self-explanatory.  Water.  Sand.  The place where we stayed and it’s grounds.  More water.  Myself, BW, and our traveling companion Sid-Andre Fleursby.  The house lizards who lived at the resort.  Y’all are smart, you can puzzle it out.  :)

Well, thank you. I stressed to no end, and starved and exercised my ass off for 3 months leading up to this dang trip!

I’m so happy I’m home and can eat a fuckin bagel now! :)
